Who we are

TalentDrop is a private placement network based in the European Union. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: hello@talentdrop.co.

What we collect

Businesses booking a call: name, email address, company details and information about the roles you want to fill.

Talent applying to the network: your profile (photo, name, roles, experience, track record and stats, niches, summary and what you're looking for), your contact details (email, phone, location, time zone, LinkedIn, social and Telegram handles), your CV if you upload one, and your intro video link if you add one.

Website usage: if you accept cookies, basic analytics about how the site is used. If you decline, no tracking cookies are set.

Why we use it and our legal basis

Talent applications: to review your application, match you with suitable roles and introduce you to vetted companies. We do this with your consent, which you give when you apply, and because you've asked us to take these steps.

To arrange and hold calls with businesses and respond to enquiries (legitimate interest / contract).

If you use the "Write my profile for me" option, the details you've entered (and your CV, if uploaded) are processed by an AI service to draft your summary. You can edit or delete the draft before submitting.

Analytics only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who sees it

Your full application, including your contact details and CV, is seen only by the Talent Drop team.

If you're accepted, we share your profile (photo, name, roles, location, stats, summary, niches, what you're looking for and your intro video) with vetted companies we introduce you to, using a private link. Your email, phone and CV are not shown on that profile; we share them with a company only when an introduction goes ahead.

We use trusted service providers (such as hosting, storage, scheduling and AI tools) that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. We never sell personal data. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Talent applications, profiles and CVs are kept for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Business contact data is kept for as long as we have an active relationship and as required by law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@talentdrop.co and we will respond within one month. You can ask for access to your data or for it to be deleted at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We only use essential storage to remember your cookie choice. Analytics or tracking scripts load only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser.
